The Green Grass of Home

I've been here a week now and I must say that this is truly a beautiful country. Not that I've seen much more than the inside of the courthouse, Walmart, and various restaurants. I'm no longer being held captive while evading a process server.

I so dislike process servers!

Big plans and a court order have come together to make an unforgettable sweet sixteen for a young friend of mine. I am so excited about spending some quality time with her and making this day a BIG day for her.

I'll just say that her birthday involves country music, chocolate, shopping, and an overnight in a hotel. What's more fun than that?

It does, however, make me think about my own dear Girl back home. I miss her. That and she has been hired to work at camp all summer.

Allllllll summer....sniffle

Ahem

Monday brings another visit to the courthouse and, gulp, the STAND.

Oh how I long for the low humidity and green country of the west. Liberal though it may be, I call it home. I think of those that I love and of their comings and going. I think of all the yard work awaiting me. Graduation looming. Beloved's new job. My own bed.

How I long for the green, green grass of home.

Hang in there, and God bless for your helping those in TN.

Hubby got a new job?!? Did the Blazers pick up his contract too? :)

Why yes Mr. Paine, they did pick up his contract. We'll be living in the lap of luxury from now on; earning more than any one man should for chasing a little ball up and down the court;P

I sense sarcasm here... :)
