My sweetheart gave me dark chocolate with creamy mint filling made with love by Ghirardelli. Hims loves me bunches.
I gave him 60% cacao dark chocolate with caramel also packaged by Ghirardelli. Me loves him bunches too.
Thus our Valentines day was complete.
We talked about going out, but we both hate crowds.
Mister Smiley had been here all week and had drained all the funergy out of me. He's a little bundle of exciting,busy,fun,non-stop talking, bouncing,Grinch watching, stink eye giving, howling package of energy. All wrapped up in a three-year-olds body. WE loves him bunches and bunches and bunches.
What I really wanted was a nap and steak, cooked by someone else and not in my kitchen, if you catch my drift.
Instead we settled for the old movie, You Can't Take it With You, which girl had to watch for her economics class, and snacky dinner.
Snacky dinner consists of slices of cheese, crackers, slice fresh veggies, hummis and of course, chocolate.
All in all, it was a lovely evening.
Oh, and in case you were wondering Devil in a Devin suit was captured last Thursday night in a barn twenty miles from here. He's looking at 20-25 years. Frankly, I was hoping for more.
But I didn't let it spoil my evening.
We had Ghirardelli love and each other. What more could you ask for?
