The Price of a Man's Life

Black Friday. It's a day to save money. A day to find that perfect gift at the perfect price. It is also a day to lose your life.

I am disgusted to report (and I'm certain you've already heard about this) the death of Jdimytai Damour, age 34, who was TRAMPLED to DEATH at a Walmart store in New York. Trampled to death for a $9.00 DVD.

As if that wasn't disturbing, enough, when the killers...er...I meant shoppers, were asked to leave the store some refused to leave. Other said, "I've been in line for hours! I'm not leaving!"

Seriously

Has it truly come to this?

That is the most disgusting thing I've ever read. What on earth has our society come to? Can you imagine what would've happened if the things in that store had been necessities like food, water or medical supplies? Makes me want to take my family and move to the woods. I don't know how those people can live with themselves.

Man apart from God is capable of the most heinous crimes. This is what happens when society decides to go the "me first" route.

i would like to say i was surprised along with being horrified, but every year you hear about a death and us normal folks wonder what the hell is going on in this world when a tv is more valuable than a person's life.

It was too bad those that refused to leave weren't detained to be questioned by the police. Certainly Warmart had a video camera on the doors when this terrible incident occurred.

And what about that poor woman who, I heard, had miscarried?

The whole situation is disturbing for one's safety to be in jeopardy when shopping.
