Book Review: A Friend in the Storm

We've all been in tight places. Those places where you feel constricted, pressured, even fearful.

It's hopeless...

Lonely...

You might even feel forsaken...

Throughout the storm God is there. That is the message from Cheryl Ricker in her new gift book A Friend in the Storm

This little green book is a salve for the soul and it's one that I plan on sending to friends who need a boost. Filled with beautiful poetry, quotes, and scripture A Friend in the Storm is sure to usher it's reader into the presence of the one who loves them best.

I loved the simple design of the book and the way each page featured a poem and scripture. Each page reminded me that we are never truly alone and there are those who have passed this way before. Better still is the strong and loving hand of God.
